Special Projects
Our mission is to develop, nurture and sustain the performing arts in Peterborough’s historic Market Hall. Toward that end we initiate special projects from time to time that take us beyond operating the Hall as a rental facility.
Our current projects are Residencies, Your Stories and the Innovation Fund which offers assistance to performers to rent the Market Hall. In 2005 our Greatest 100 project highlighted many of the best performing artists that have called Peterborough home and resulted in our present Bright Lights series. Have a look – we feel these projects make Market Hall a more supportive place for artists and contribute to a more dynamic arts experience for audiences.
