Please note that Market Hall will be closed after February 14, 2010 for a major renovation. The Hall will re-open in March, 2011. Please contact us to inquire about bookings from March, 2011 onward.
Performing Arts
Market Hall is a supportive rental facility for dozens of local theatre, dance, music and multidisciplinary presenters, including Folk Under The Clock, Kawartha Jazz Society, Peterborough New Dance & Public Energy, New Stages Theatre, mysterious entity and Kawartha Youth Orchestra.
The theatre has three basic seating configurations with capacities from 140 seats to 325 seats.
The box office is available immediately before each show and does not sell advance tickets. Tickets can be sold through our arrangement with the Box Office at Showplace Performance Centre or through several retail outlets.
Community
Market Hall is a great place to hold public meetings, corporate functions and private celebrations such as weddings and retirements.
